Elendig. Bilen var tom for kjøleveske, og kundeservice på nummeret på automaten var elendig. Veldig vanskelig å komme i kontakt med riktig person.

They are a scam. They are claiming a scratch on the front passenger door and charging me for it. The details show scratches from who knows what, you can't tell where it is in relation to anything. The full view clearly shows no scratches. Mind you these are the company's own photos, not mine.

I was absolutely dreading picking up my car based on reading all of the recent negative reviews, however my experience was for the most part seamless. The only issue I had was the machine could not read my foreign driver's licence (Australian) so I had to call the support number on the screen (it was a Swedish number. Also note it's different to the number on a sticker on the machine). A person who spoke fluent English picked up within a few minutes and guided me through the process of verifying my licence which involved me taking a photo holding it using the machine. This took about 15 minutes and I was able to retrieve the keys after paying with my credit card.

Drop off was a breeze - I parked the car in row 22 (or 23 I don't remember) anyway, there are signs in front of each bay which specify they are for Hertz cars so you really can't go wrong. I don't know how that one other reviewer got charged for parking in the wrong spot.

Also the lifts are directly opposite the self-service machine. It took me a while to initially find it...

Overall a pleasant experience and would use it again/recommend to others.

In the booking process, it is not sufficiently pointed out that photos must be taken.

As a result, I forgot to take a photo of the vehicle. Of course, I was then charged for a damage on the mirror, even though there was nothing wrong with the ID3 during my ride. Hertz is taking cold advantage of this. You can't do anything because you didn't take any photos. Nasty scam!

the car wasnt fully tanked and the tire pressure signal was blinking and not properly cleaned when we went there to get the car. the self-service pick up was ok, but would have been nice to speak to an employee about said issues. After writing a mail, we did get a small amount refunded for the given incovenience. PS: norway has toll fees and its not included in the rental fee, even though infinite kilometres,
so an additional amount will be deducted from your credit card for this!

Very difficult to find with no signage anywhere. Auto return is the easy bit, then comes the phone calls to Hertz correcting the over charges etc. Be prepared to see charges on your card from Hertz Norway many times over next few days. Then subsequent phone calls correcting them...

Ich bin auch über 2 Monate nach Anmietung fassungslos, für mich handeln die kriminell. Mittlerweile habe ich neben der Abbuchung der eigentlichen Anmietung 4 weitere Abbuchungen von in Summe weit über 100€, ohne dass mir ein Beleg oder eine Information gesendet wurde. Update: Für Parkgebühren und auch teilweise für Mautgebühren wird eine Verwaltungsgebühr über 375NOK = 32€ erhoben. Pro Vorgang versteht sich ! Wer also irgendwo kostenpflichtig parkt oder die falsche Mautstation erwischt, wird von Hertz ordentlich ausgepresst.

Zur Abholung: Wer nicht ganz genau weiß, wo die Abholstelle ist, hat Pech gehabt. Es gibt nirgends irgendeine Information, wo die Mietwagen bzw. der Automat stehen. Auch nicht auf dem Voucher. Ans Telefon geht unter der dort hinterlegten Nummer auch niemand. Ich habe über eine Stunde gesucht. Der Automat befindet sich im 2. Stock des Parkhauses in der Nähe des Aufzugs.

Da ich noch keinen Kartenführerschein habe, musste ich aufwändig gleichzeitig mit einem Servicemitarbeiter (andere Rufnummer als oben, nur am Automaten angezeigt) telefonieren und meinen Führerschein in eine Kamera halten. Dann noch die Kreditkarte in den Schlitz und jede Menge Daten auf dem Display ausfüllen, lesen, bestätigen. Hilfe gab's dazu übers Telefon nur bedingt, nach dem Motto die Auswahl wird schon passen und die Posten mit Extrakosten sind bestimmt schon in der ursprünglichen Rechnung drin.

Nach einer halben Ewigkeit hatte ich den Schlüssel. Das Auto war gut, aber eine Einweisung in mein erstes E-Auto hätte ich mir schon gewünscht. Bei Hertz gibt's aber keinen Service, der ist offenbar viel zu teuer.

Bei der Rückgabe war mir nicht ganz klar, wo das Auto abzustellen ist. Dafür gab's dann netterweise eine Rechnung über etwa 30€ für einen Tag 'Falschparken' eine Reihe zu weit links.

Ich werde sicher nicht mehr bei Hertz buchen, das war ein unglaublich teures Erlebnis.

Hertz Norway gave me the worst client experience ever.
At pick-up, they pretented the car was in perfect condition and with no body damage. I found multiple scratches, on multiple parts. I struggles 2 days to find how to report them (no information given at pickup).
During my trip, the car had a malfunction affecting the security (tyre pressure control system did not work correctly - red alarm went on, with a scary alert "malfunction, contact your dealer) - I contacted Hertz to get support. They never responded.
The return of the car was painfull and unsecured: unattended public parking lot, with a lot of traffic. We checked the car and it was in same condition as when we picked it up. 3 days after, Hertz sent us an email pretending we were responsible for a new scratch. We formally denied it ; there was no scratch when we returned the car. But the car remained unattended in an open public parking lot for a couple of days after the return. Despite our numerous emails, Hertz did not even listen to us. They charged us 11219 NOK (1000€) for repairs they don't even do (we found multiple scratches when we picked up the car ; they were obviously not repaired.
By the way, Hertz also charged us 5000 NOK (450€) for returning the car in a different city (pick up in Trondheim airport - 3rd largest city in Norway ; returned in Bergen downtown - 2nd biggest city in Norway).
Clearly works client experience ever. I'm blacklisting Hertz from now on. And I strongly don't recommend them based on the so poor experience they gave me.
