Extremely poor service.
Make sure to check that your rental car has winter tyres fitted, as it’s a legal requirement in many regions of Norway from October 15. Enterprise tried to assure us that “the weather forecast looks good,” but in Norway, conditions can change by the minute — we already had snow on October 16.

Remember, it’s the driver’s legal responsibility to ensure the tyres are appropriate for road conditions. If something goes wrong, you’ll be held accountable, not Enterprise.

Their dismissive attitude toward safety is unacceptable. Be cautious and choose a more reliable car rental company.

We rented a car here for our road trip around Lofoten and had a great experience working with Benjamin. Despite a long line, he was patient and thorough, making sure all our questions were answered. The car itself was adequate, while it could have used an alignment, it served our needs well and we were grateful to have it.
When we returned the vehicle at the airport, we found out our flight was unexpectedly cancelled. Although Enterprise didn’t have any cars available for a drive to Tromsø, Benjamin went above and beyond by helping coordinate with another rental company to help us secure a vehicle. His assistance made a stressful situation much more manageable. Enterprise is luck to have a thoughtful representative working for them.

For my Lofoten road trip in March, I booked a spacious station wagon through Booking with Enterprise Rent a Car at Evenes Airport – and I couldn’t be happier!

It was my first time renting with Enterprise, and to be honest, my expectations were low due to some borderline experiences with other rental companies in the past. But Enterprise really impressed me.

I checked in online in advance with my driver’s license and credit card, which made the pickup process at the counter quick and smooth.

Since I’ve been traveling to Norway every winter for the past 9 years, I appreciated that they didn’t try to sell me unnecessary extra insurance – something I’ve often had to deal with at other rental agencies.

I received a fantastic, undamaged Skoda Octavia 4x4 – a first for me – with plenty of space and great features. Even in heavy snow and challenging road conditions, the car performed flawlessly.

Returning the car was just as easy and straightforward.

Big thanks to the team – keep up the great work! I’ll definitely rent with you again.

Something is really wrong with enterprise in Narvik.

On avait loué la voiture économique correspondant à une toyota yarris et au final le jour où on est arrivé nous avons eu un wolwagen T-Roc. Donc très content.
Le retour s’est fait simplement et rapidement
PAR CONTRE je pense qu’ils ont essayé de nous arnaquer. A la réservation en ligne on nous a annoncé un prix de 6600 nok. 2 jours avant de récupérer la voiture, on a la possibilité de payer en ligne et cette fois-ci on me demandait de payer 7600 nok, j’ai signalé l’erreur et enterprise m’a répondu que le problème serait réglé à mon arrivée. Au final, le jour où nous sommes arrivé pour récupérer la voiture, au moment de payer on nous annonce un prix de 8800 nok ! heureusement nous avions le mail original avec le bon montant et j’ai finis par payer 6600 nok. Apparemment c’était dû à une erreur d’assurance qui était facturée en double. Je vous conseille d’être vigilant si vous choisissez ce loueur et d’avoir des traces des devis.

Avoid them at all means! They are scammers. We rented 2 cars for 9 days but when we arrived, they had re-rented our cars to other people for a much higher price (yield management practices) and told us that we were more than an hour late with respect to the rental contract (this rule was very hard to find in terms and conditions but actually is on the contract) The person at reception told us very curtly that if we arrived late at the hairdresser's, we'd lose our reservation... they didn't try to help us at all, telling us to go and see other rental companies to try to find another car. When we called customer service to ask for a refund, the call center gave us a penalty of 3 days on one rental and 4 days on another, without any justification and saying that it was already an exception to be partially reimbursed. As a result, we had to rent somewhere else for three times the initial amount, because we'd rented at the last minute and lost a good sum of money on the initial amount (respectively 3 and 4 days initial payment) at Enterprise. By far one of the worst consumer experiences ever.

At the beginning of January, I used the services of Enterprise Harstad. Overall, I am very satisfied with my choice. The car was comfortable and in good technical condition. Communication with the rental company was excellent (via email), which allowed all minor uncertainties to be clarified to my full satisfaction. The staff at the office were friendly and pleasant. The rental price was very good. I would gladly use this company’s services again in the future.

The person gave me a car with a cracked windshield. When I asked for a change of car, he said since he doesn't think its safety issue so no replacement will be given. He was extremely rude and didn't want to help at all. I had to get a car from Europcar (much nicer staff and car!).
