Beautifully situated campground. We rented a cabin and hardly had any noise from the airport. The main bed in our cabin was bit narrow (1.20m). The bunk beds were a bit short (1.90m) and the upper bunk did not feel very sturdy. The bathroom was good and the kitchen was well-equipped.

Best value for a price in Norway so far. Receptionist very helpful and nice. Main building with the facilities has floor heating that was especially nice in such climate. Not crowded. We really enjoyed our stay here 👌

Schöner Campingplatz mit viel Platz, um frei zu stehen.
Die Duschen sind frei und ohne Zeitbegrenzung!
Küche, Waschmaschine und Aufenthaltsraum sind ebenfalls vorhanden.
Der Flughafen hatte wenige Hubschrauberflüge und hat uns nicht sehr gestört.
WLAN ist für Gäste frei zugänglich.

The map says it all, within 100m or so of the airport so from 0650 to 2130 helicopters and planes land/take off very close. When there are no planes the campsite is very peaceful indeed. The owner is friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and in good condition. The pitches can be soggy in rain and challenging for geavier campervans.

Aika on vähän ajanut ohi ja kaipaisi pientä pintaremonttia, mutta huoltorakennukset olivat siistejä. Ihanaa kun sai käydä suihkussa ilman poletteja/kolikoita. Asuntoautolla hieman jännitti ajaa nurmikolle kun oli märkää ja pehmeää, mutta ei jääty jumiin. Lentokoneita oli hauska seurata kun tulivat ja menivät ihan läheltä. Ihan ok paikka olla yhden yön yli.

Het is momenteel 29 juli en mss hebben we de pech dat er vandaag een luchtvaartshow bezig is. Ik kan alle andere reviews echt niet plaatsen. Wel ideale spot voor vliegtuigspotters en percussionisten die ongehinderd hun hobby willen uitoefenen.

Nice location but totally unserviced and run down. No evidence of cleaning since we arrived. Bins overflowing and being picked by birds. Dead insects on toilet floor and still there 2 days later. Electricity not working so we had to see where we could get a hook up. Only we had paid in advance, we would be gone. Can see why others have driven onto site, looked around and left. Can’t comment on cabins but delighted we have the cleanliness of our own van. This site needs a lot of cleaning up. It’s a disgrace but has so much potential. All sites in Norway have been lovely, but this

We stayed a night in a motorhome in the camping and were surprised to find that, contrary to other comments here, the camping was super quiet and very clean. The staff was helpful and we had a good stay. The only con we can think of is that the common facilities are very worn out, and could use a renovation.
